Portal from Earth Forge Alliance-locked?

I used the portal at the Earth Forge to (hopefully) return to Rawl'kha, as I had ported from the Fighters Guild Hall there to get to the Forge, but instead ended up at the Bangkorai FG Hall. I'm guessing that this is because my character belongs to the Daggerfall Covenant alliance, but can't test this because I don't have an AD or EP character that has advanced that far in the FG quest line. Pressure Room III is through a door

I found it difficult to find Pressure Room III. As you exit the wayshrine and head toward the forge, there will be a dark door on the left, go through that to get to Pressure Room III.
