Werebats are a variety of giant bat found in Shademist Moors and Shademist Enclave. Despite seemingly being lycanthropes, they are unaffected by Fighters Guild Skilled Tracker skill. Like generic giant bats, they have a chance to drop a Magnificent Bat Pelt.

- Werebats can also be encountered elsewhere, namely Zayzahad and Verkarth Bat-Men who can spawn at Dark Anchors.
- Werebats appear in Legends, where they are depicted as shapeshifters through the Twilight and Moonlight Werebat cards.
