Blessed Crucible

Glirion the Redbeard of the Undaunted has challenged me to survive the Blessed Crucible, an unforgiving arena deep in The Rift.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Enter the Blessed Crucible.
   • Optional: Enter Dungeon in Veteran Mode.
2. Kill the Pack.
3. Kill the Beast Master.
4. Kill the Lava Queen.

   You can only complete the Death Challenge in Veteran Mode.

   • Defeat the Lava Queen after invoking the Scroll of Glorious Battle
5. Return to Glirion the Redbeard at any Undaunted Enclave.

Speak to Glirion the Redbeard to get the details of this quest.

What's the pledge today?

"The Blessed Crucible. A contest of blood and fire. Warriors across Tamriel vie for the Brimstone Crown. Represent us in this competition and prove the Undaunted are aptly named."

And if I seek greater glory?

"The Lava Queen has held the Brimstone Crown for centuries, but if you believe she is past her prime then invoke the Scroll of Glorious Battle. The spectacle may be worthy of memory, even if you do not survive it."

I pledge to face the Blessed Crucible and return Undaunted.

Once you have accepted the quest, you can enter the Blessed Crucible dungeon either by accessing the dungeon through the Dungeon Finder, or heading to the Rift and entering the dungeon there with a group. You have the choice of entering the normal dungeon or the veteran version, this choice will affect if you can complete the optional step and your rewards.

When inside the dungeon, you will need to progress through the dungeon, slaying the following bosses, the Pack, the Beast Master and the Lava Queen. With the last boss fight, if you are in the veteran dungeon, you have the option of completing the optional task of activating the Scroll of Glorious Battle to put the boss in hard mode.

Once you have completed the task, you can return to Glirion the Redbeard at any of the Undaunted Enclaves, and speak with him to complete the quest:

"You hold your head a little higher. Is that due to pride or a neck injury?"

I have claimed the Brimstone Crown.

"Hah! … Excuse me, an unexpected reflex. My heart has filled to the brim with pride for your accomplishment. The Undaunted owe you a debt for claiming this prize in our name."

Veteran Hard Mode completed	"They are in the looks of admiration. The hearty cheers. And the chests in our camp. For casting down the Lava Queen and claiming her crown, you have earned the lion's share of all. Take your key and your cut. Tomorrow you may defend your throne."
