An Undertow Torchbug
Deetum-Jas asked me to enter Undertow Cavern on behalf of a local bug enthusiast to bring back a special breed of torchbug before the cavern floods.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Catch 3 Undertow Torchbugs.
  2. Talk to Deetum-Jas for your reward.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Receive the quest from the daily job broker, Deetum-Jas, in Leyawiin. You can choose to speak with Olith before heading out. If you find her in the alley on the south side of Domestic Bliss Furnishings, she will tell you more about her interest in rare insects and caution you to take care while collecting them.

Head to Undertow Cavern in Blackwood by exiting the city traveling north or by taking the Leyawiin Outskirts Wayshrine and traveling west. You need to gather three Undertow Torchbugs. The first can be found in in the middle of the delve, at the intersection south of the Skyshard. The third can be found in the cave south of the most northwestern one. The third can be found near the boss of the delve, Druvaakh the Smasher, in the northeastern cave.

Return to Leyawiin and speak to Deetum-Jas for your reward.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
