Gulakhan Harrinat is a Dark Elf member of the Mabrigash Tribe who can be found in the Vale of the Ghost Snake in southern Deshaan. He's outside the westernmost yurt.

As Gulakhan, he is the nominal military leader of the tribe, but he holds no real power among the predominately female Mabrigash.

Trade Negotiations[edit]

If you are playing a female character:

"What can the Mabrigash do for you, outsider?"
Trader Raston's people are worried about him.
"Outsiders have no place here. The House Hlaalu hirelings should pack up and go. The trader is in Farseer Bodani's hands now."
House Hlaalu may send others if Raston doesn't return.
"That thought has also crossed my mind. You think like a wisewoman. I like that.
The trader insulted the Farseer and her anger has blinded her to such consequences. Talk to Wisewoman Iru-Ahan. She may be able to help you."

Otherwise, he'll say:

"The last fool that visited us managed to offend almost everyone in the village. Please don't say you're here to finish the job."
Trader Raston's people are worried about him.
"Outsiders have no place here. The House Hlaalu hirelings should pack up and go. The trader is in Farseer Bodani's hands now."
House Hlaalu may send others if Raston doesn't return.
"That thought also occurred to me. You think strategically, and I can appreciate that.
The trader insulted the Farseer and her anger may bring more unwanted attention to the Vale. Talk to Wisewoman Iru-Ahan. She might be willing to help you."

Exiting conversation and speaking to him again:

"Strangers aren't welcome here. Be on your way."
May I ask you some questions?
"If you must."
Is there really a Ghost Snake here?
"We don't make up stories just to frighten outsiders. This Vale is an ancient place, protected by an ancient entity.
The Mabrigash have served that entity for many generations."
How did Raston insult the Farseer?
"That ignorant outsider! Let's just say that he mocked us and made the Farseer very angry. He will serve the Ghost Snake. The Farseer will make sure of that.
We do not welcome outsiders, but we treat them with courtesy if they respect our ways."

If you ask him these questions again after speaking to the Wisewoman, his responses will be a little different and he will sound more impatient:

"Strangers aren't welcome here. Be on your way."
May I ask you some questions?
"If you must."
Is there really a Ghost Snake here?
"That ignorant outsider. He managed to insult our women and anger the Farseer. She will send him to serve the Ghost Snake for his insults.
The Mabrigash do not welcome outsiders, but we will treat them with courtesy if they respect our ways."
What did Raston do to anger the tribe?
"We do not make up stories just to scare away outsiders. This Vale is an ancient place and not kind to those who do not dwell here. The Mabrigash have been here for many generations."

The Trial of the Ghost Snake[edit]

Speaking to him after being told to walk the Path:

"Many have died upon the Coiled Path. Likely, you will die, too."

When you arrive back at the village after the trial, he will escort Raston out of the inaccessible yurt with his weapon unsheathed. Asking him about Raston's fate:

"Watch your step among the Mabrigash, outsider."
How do you feel about allowing House Hlaalu to trade for snake skins?
"Bah! Raston claims things won't change, but I don't trust him. If you ask me, the Hlaalu are just one step above thieves."
What do you think I should do?
"If it were up to me, Raston would have quietly disappeared the first night he arrived here. But you're the one making the decision, not me."

After the quest, if Raston trades with the Mabrigash:

"I still have my eye on you, even if the Farseer considers you a friend of the clan."

After the quest, if Tevynni trades with the Mabrigash:

"The female Hlaalu merchant seems to understand our ways. She doesn't seem so bad."

If Raston is given to the Ghost Snake, Harrinat will lead him back into the inaccessible yurt. After the quest, he will agree with choice if spoken to:

"The merchant serves the Ghost Snake now. I think you chose well."
