Sylvian Herius wants an Imperial lieutenant killed, to hurt their army's morale and readiness.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Speak with Sylvian Herius.
- Kill an Imperial Lieutenant.
- Return to Sylvian.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Talk with Sylvian Herius to see what he wants you to do.
- "Once we defeat the Imperials, we can start rebuilding Cheydinhal. We must re-take this town!"
- The Imperials are well-trained.
- "Indeed. Imperial lieutenants serve as masters-at-arms, keeping the army always ready for battle. Eliminating a lieutenant would damage enemy morale and make our task much easier. Can you do it?"
- I accept the challenge.
Make your way to the side of town controlled by the Legion. The Lieutenant you have been tasked with killing is not a stationary target, but he does follow a fixed path from the fountain near the main gate around to the back of the chapel. Kill him and return to Sylvian for your reward.
- "Seems to be no end to this conflict. Cutting the head off the snake would help our cause tremendously."
- One head has been removed.
- "Good. I hope we can take advantage of the confusion you've caused. But we must act soon, as they will quickly promote a new lieutenant from the ranks."

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
