Oblivion talk:Raid on Greyland
I found that i may have bugged the quest by wiping out that household whilst randomly exploring. The guard kept asking for my time then saying "hmph." — Unsigned comment by 60.229.96.124 (talk)
- I'm pretty sure that you can just bring Lerexus Kylius' ring whether or not he's previously given you the quest. Try going back to Greyland and double check that one of the people you killed was Kylius and be sure to take his ring. Bring the ring to Lerexus and see what happens then. --NepheleTalk 11:45, 11 April 2007 (EDT)
- Actually wiping out the Greyland house before starting this quest is an easier alternative to complete it, since Kylius will not have any reinforcement when met. Added a section to document this alternative path. -- Basophilous 18:06, 29 July 2007 (EDT)
Gold Reward[edit]
I just finished this quest at a level 41 and was only given 670 gold. Tried it twice, same result. I would edit the reward chart but I have no idea how to adjust or what to do with the other levels. Is level 27 possibly the highest payout for this quest?
- Yes, thanks for mentioning it, there appears to be more to the reward list than is shown in the article. Level 30 is highest possible payout for the quest, but the actual payout is partly random. A random amount is chosen from part of the list. What part the reward is chosen from depends on your level. It ranges from your level to your level minus 8. In your case your level is capped to 30 (the maximum value in the list) and so a random amount was chosen between 545 and 745 gold.
- If you are familiar with the Construction Set; this is because the Calculate from all levels <= PC's level of the SQ02RewardLeveled100 list is checked.
- I'll update the article. --Timenn < talk > 07:56, 16 January 2008 (EST)
No Lerexus Callidus?[edit]
I've tried to start this quest several times now, but have come to find that Lerexus Callidus won't show up outside Leyawiin's gate. I'm playing on PS3. I know I've talked to him once on this save, in which he asked for my time, but I didn't feel like doing the quest at the time, so I did not receive the quest. Now he doesn't show up outside Leyawiin at all, and I haven't been able to find him wandering around town or anything. Ideas? -- Andi 17:22, 13 November 2008 (EST)
- Check your quest journal, and see if it is completed saying you refused his help, in which the quest will end, and he might dissapear. --Oblivion nerd 15:39, 29 November 2008 (EST)
