Note of Bounty[edit]

Does the note of bounty really appear outside of this fort? I know you get it from a chest near fort coldcorn, but this fort doesn't seem to have anything to do with that. — Unsigned comment by 71.255.110.226 (talk) at 05:03 on 21 February 2009

Yup. It can also be found in containers outside Fort Variela and Fort Gold-Throat. –RpehTCE 02:39, 21 February 2009 (EST)

What is the book?[edit]

In the final room of this dungeon, there is a book, on the left of the chest. You can't take it or look at it - there is no change of icon when you look at it. Is there something special about it? — Unsigned comment by 97.120.89.82 (talk) at 02:03 on 12 May 2009‎

Same here. When I looked away for a sec, I heard a "thump", turned back around to look at it, and it was GONE!!! --184.88.12.130

Additional loot or so it should be....[edit]

````Hey i just want to let people know there is a mage's robes( you can pick up) and hood (why is it static?) on the halls of winter next to the boss chest but it is static and if you try to pick it up it falls through the table and the book on the other side is also static and i have no clue what the book is because if you try to move it by spell it disapperars is the is bug fixed by the unofficial patch or not cause i have the ps3 so i cannot download any patch — Unsigned comment by 99.169.161.243 (talk) at 18:25 on 1 January 2011
The book[edit]
Is fixed by the Unofficial Patch, it's just The Book of Daedra, nothing special. The patch also fixes so you can pick up Mage's Hood in that room. 91.79.73.174 04:35, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
Lever/Gate puzzle[edit]
Several times I've gone through this fort for the weightless mages hood, and every time it is the right lever which controls the middle gate. Maybe this is a bug, glitch, or something changed by the Xbox One refresh of the game, so I didn't edit the article, but someone with more clout than me may want to double check and edit the article. Mjolnir (talk) 19:16, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Good spot! Just checked and it was indeed the rightmost lever that activated the middle gate. I edited the article accordingly, but in the future please don't feel like you can't make the edit yourself. There is no such thing as "clout" over here: everyone can contribute. Even if you're worried about making a mistake, don't worry - at some point a Patroller will look over your edit. --SerCenKing (talk) 17:21, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
