the trail leading to lore still says Tamriel, but I can;t fix it because it doesn't show up in the lore versionTemple-Zero 18:40, 4 September 2008 (EDT)
Nibenay Basin = Heartlands?[edit]
The 'Geography' paragraph says: "the Nibenay Basin is also known as the Heartlands[...]". While the Heartlands article says: "It forms a border with the regions Great Forest on the north and west, Nibenay Basin on the east[...]". I think Nibenay Basin doesn't equal to the Heartlands, the latter needs an other section below the Basin here. -- Szotsaki 07:58, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not too knowledgeable about Cyrodiil geography; however, it seems to me that the Heartlands are a part OF the Nibenay Basin, with the Heartlands being the specific area around the Imperial City and down to Bravil. I might be able to look into more later. --Elliot(T-C) 08:19, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
- It seems to be the usual conflict between Lore and Game. The book Provinces of Tamriel equates "Heartlands" and "Nibenay Valley". The game splits "Nibenay Valley" into "Nibenay Basin", "Nibenay Valley" and "Heartlands" (with even smaller areas like "City Isle"). Even worse, much of the Great Forest would obviously drain into the Niben and so should be part of the Nibenay Basin. I've tweaked the paragraph for a better balance that should make things a little clearer. –rpeh•T•C•E• 12:16, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
