Beem-Kiurz[edit]

  • I saw him in the Chapel of Mara instead of Marz. Did the KOTN replace him with Beem?--Desann 09:34, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
Yes, all the people in the chapels in Bravil and Anvil are replaced by new characters in KotN. All the KotN characters, though, are listed under Oblivion:People#Official_Mods rather than being mixed in with the non-mod people, which could lead to confusion. --Nephele 11:36, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
It is always going to be problematic to work out whats the least confusing way of dealing with mods. It's not so bad when they just add things, but when they kill of already existing NPCs to replace them, its a lot more confusing. Maybe we could use some sort of Icon next to there names to indicate they are affected by official mods and redirect the user to the relevant page? Jadrax 11:39, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
If someone wanted to figure out some type of "mod" icon then I could see adding that icon to any NPCs who are altered by a mod. But on lists like Bravil People, anything that requires more than an icon can't really be squeezed in. I'd also like to see that type of information added to the NPC pages (i.e., state on Marz's page that she dies during KotN). I haven't gone too far myself with this whole question of KotN replacement NPCs because it basically confuses me. I understand why all the Anvil chapel people are killed and then replaced. But I don't understand why there are replacements for all the Bravil chapel people: nothing happens in Bravil during the entire KotN questline. And then why aren't there any replacements for Leyawiin and Cheydinhal? And when do the Bravil people get killed off? I think there's some glitchiness here so I haven't wanted to tackle it. But there is a significant chunk of documentation that is needed at some point clarifying who dies when and who gets replaced by whom. --Nephele 22:10, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
