Kill a Khajiit and bring his belongings to Alberto.
Quest Giver: Alberto, in the Assassin Castle
Location(s): Paulor Thedrig's house
Concurrent Quest: Ruins Beyond the Dunes
Reward: 50 gold, or 300 gold
ID: ODDAss21Bowl

Walkthrough[edit]

You'll get this quest during the course of Ruins Beyond the Dunes - if you go to Alberto to get a fire trap for the Khajiit, he'll ask you to bring him any loot you find on the body. The only thing of interest the Khajiit has is a key; you can sell it to Alberto for 50 gold and wash your hands of the matter, or hang on to it and find out where it goes.

The Khajiit has a clue - a brand in its fur that marks it as property of Paulor Thedrig, a slave owner in Kathar. Go there and search his house, and you'll find a chest under a table in the corner to which the key fits. The chest has an old bowl inside - apparently a family heirloom; Alberto will give you 300 gold for it, or you can keep it and try to sell it on your own (it's worth 400, so unless your Mercantile is very good, you won't get a better deal).

Journal Entries[edit]

Raid (ODDAss21Bowl)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10 Alberto wants me to bring him the Khajiit's belongings, as soon as I defeat him with a fire trap.
20 I found a small key on the dead Khajiit. I wonder if this is what Alberto wanted?
30 Finishes quest☑ I took the 50 gold coins and sold the key to Alberto.
40 I decided to keep the key.
50 The Khajiit's key opened the lock on a chest. In it, I found an old bowl. It seems to be a family heirloom of Thedrig's.
60 Finishes quest☑ I sold Alberto the bowl for 300 gold coins.
61 Finishes quest☑ Alberto offered me 300 gold coins for the dish that I stole from Paulor Thedrig, but I refused. Let's see if I can obtain a higher price from another dealer.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On PC It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDAss21Bowl stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
