False Sunders?[edit]

Should it be listed here or maybe in the quest pages that there are false sunders, a one-handed and a two-handed one? I think it's a bit odd that the only place I could find any information on the false sunders was in the list of journal entries on the quest page. APSX3427 07:17, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

This is the only Sunder. You may be confusing the 'one of the enchanted tools created by Kagrenac' part for the other tool, Keening. Sch 07:20, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
There's an item with the id "sunder_fake" in the CS, although it doesn't appear in the game. That's a one-handed blunt too, and it has the name "* Sunder *" and no enchantment. I dunno what else you could be referring to though. rpeh •TCE 10:11, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
There are two fake sunders in the CS. One has the id "sunder_fake" like you said, and the other has the id "false_sunder", and it is a two-handed weapon that looks like a normal dwarven warhammer. Both are labeled as "* Sunder *". I searched Vemynal in game and could not find any evidence of either type. However, I do vaguely remember once that I picked up the fake one-handed Sunder in a barrel, and getting the journal entry about it. Perhaps the weapon was spawned because of the random dwemer weapon spawns in the containers? If this is true, should this be included on this page or (more reasonably) in the quest page?
There is also a voice recording of Dagoth Ur saying "Hahaha! Did you get the false copy of Sunder? Shame on you! Hahahaha!" or something along those lines. Although I do not know how to access it, proof of this can be found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fS9lRgv3C8Q at around 1:40. APSX3427 02:48, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
Hmm. I missed the other one somehow. Neither of them can be found in the game without mods though - they aren't present in world by default, and aren't referenced by any script either. Neither of them has a script attached either, so the fact that you got a journal update when picking one up shows that it must have come from a mod.
The dialogue you mention comes from this file: Data Files\Sound\Vo\Misc\Dagoth Ur Welcome D.mp3. Unlike A, B and C, that file isn't ever played either. rpeh •TCE 07:35, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
