Spelling[edit]

Muckspunge or Muck Sponge? I'm seeing Muckspunge in the game, but I'm not sure if it's referred to otherwise elsewhere in the game; currently this page is inconsistent about it, and other pages on the wiki may be as well. Vely►Talk►Email 21:11, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Looking in the .esm files reveals that the plant is referred to as "muckspunge", never "muck sponge". There is one single instance where the name "mucksponge" (one word) is used, in the shrineKummu script that displays the shrine's message ("Here in the Fields of Kummu, Vivec acted as a beast of burden for a poor famer who could not harvest mucksponge after his guar died.") However, given that the plant is referred to exclusively as "muckspunge" everywhere else in numerous dialogues and a journal entry, including the dialogue for the "Fields of Kummu" topic, I think it's safe to assume that the spelling in the shrine's message is erroneous. Therefore I have changed the name of the plant in the article to be consistent with in-game spelling. - Wolfborn (Howl) 20:27, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
