Uniform[edit]

After completing this quest, you no longer need to be wearing a uniform of the Imperial Legion in order to talk to its members. Please check if this statement is correct. I did not asked to wear uniform before this quest has been completed (after completing Suryn Athones' Slanders quest). Also note about a bug you can experience during duel. Grandmaster can fail inside a column so you will need to tcl him out to start fighting. It happened to me this time. If you hear battle music but not a trace of opponent, check if he's inside the columns or under the floor. Oxyk 06:14, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

It's... almost right, but not necessarily for the right reasons. Whenever you talk to a fellow legion member, there's a condition that you must be wearing a suitable uniform IF they are higher in rank than you are. Since you become the highest rank after this quest, you never need to wear the uniform. rpeh •TCE 09:09, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

I used XBOX GOTY edition and challenged him to a duel without being a memeber of the imperial legion. After I defeated him I became a member of the imperial legion at the lowest rank and did have to wear a uniform to talk to members of the legion. — Unsigned comment by 50.38.57.175 (talk) on 05 feb 2011

Yes. That is normal. --Brf 15:39, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Now you can take off your uniform and relax :) you don't need to follow orders, unless you want to finish all quests. Oxyk 18:42, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Is there anything to own in legion?[edit]

Is there anything to own (some castle, fort, house or atleast outhouse ;D ) in legion like you can own a stronghold in Great house(s)?— Unsigned comment by 84.15.190.184 (talk) at 18:28 on 13 January 2012

nah, even no proper rewards, not to mention own home or castle. Pretty useless faction. The only 2 good artifacts you'll be sent to retrieve (blade and armor), can be obtained without membership. Oxyk 18:39, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Old post I know, but the Title is really for aesthetic appeal, after all, you are now the highest ranking imperial soldier on Vvardenfell, not to mention leader of all Imperial forces on the Island 86.138.29.249 08:47, 1 November 2012 (GMT)

its totally untrue that this faction is useless. since it isnt even mentioned here i think people might be unaware of this yet. beeing knight protector or any rank ABOVE it (garland/dragon) is actually the ONLY way in the entire game to get stolen tags removed from your character legitly (without console use). we all know this annoying bug were guards start to take your armor even tough you didnt steal it because you stole a item of the same type somewere before.

once youre knight protector go to any guard attack it and pay gold. the items tagged stolen will be removed from you. head for the nearest evidence chest were your items are stored and pick the lock and take back the NOW no longer stolen tagged items from the box. since youre knight protector or above nobody will attack you or do something about you picking the items up since all evidence chests in the game are OWNED by this rank or above. this removes stolen tags from your character. maybe it should be added to the stolen goods article. its the main use of beeing high rank in legion i say.

a word of WARNING : DO NOT PAY YOUR fines to a mournhold guard. since this evidence chest in the royal palace is the ONLY evidence chest in the entire game thats not owned by the legion/knight protector its owned by helseths guards which means they WILL attack you no matter your legion rank.
