False?[edit]

The description here is unclear; what makes this account false exactly? It's likely biased, like most TES literature, but I don't see anything blatantly false in it ... Minor Edits 18:58, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure to be honest. The description (when we used /Description subpages) created by User:Werdnanoslen back in 2006 was "A false account of a First Age religious conflict." and it looks like that was pretty much kept. It should probably be fixed to be un-judgmental. rpeh •TCE 19:14, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
I thought perhaps he may have been inferring that because it was written by an outlander, for outlanders, that it was fairly inaccurate and prejudiced, but even so, "false" seems too strong a word. There are definitely some significant inconsistencies in the timeline and the factions involved (notably involving House Dagoth, and I think it's the only source that mentions Orcs being involved), but the basic gist is correct. What do you think would be better: replacing "false" with some other, more accurate and less opinion-based adjective (brief, inaccurate, cursory, ect.), or not attempting to qualify it at all? Words like "brief" are fine because the text is unarguably short. I'd steer clear of any comment on accuracy. rpeh •TCE 04:46, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
