Too Many Titles

The current list of titles on the page is excessive. Lorespace is not the place to describe the game mechanics of character titles in ESO. I have removed the full list of card game ranks that were previously listed on the page, but I feel like the list could still be trimmed down a lot more. For instance, why do we need two separate listings for Champion of Blackwood and Savior of Blackwood? There are also a few listed like "of House Ravenwatch", which is not really a title from an in-universe perspective. —⁠Legoless (talk) 15:49, 15 July 2024 (UTC)

There's no ESO-specific page for The Vestige, so where would you record all these titles? I agree it is quite a lot of titles and it disrupts the feel of a "lore" page, but where else would they go? Solomon1972 (talk) 16:10, 15 July 2024 (UTC)

I see now the Titles page. This is a good place to record all those meaningless titles like "Craglorn Skyshard Hunter," which is just an in-game achievement. (No one ever walks up to you and says, "Oh! You're the Craglorn Skyshard Hunter!") Solomon1972 (talk) 16:14, 15 July 2024 (UTC)

While the title list is perhaps indeed quite - long- the "of the Ravenwatch" - while not title in universe perspective is still something beyond just a title and should more than likelly remain on the page in some form. Yes, exactly. Being an honorary member of House Ravenwatch is definitely notable and would probably be better off integrated into the text of the article. My point is that it's only a "title" in terms of game mechanics. I'm not opposed to having a long list of titles on this page, but it needs a bit more thought put into it than just copying every entry from Online:Titles without any consideration for loreworthiness. —⁠Legoless (talk) 20:11, 15 July 2024 (UTC)

I wouldn't be opposed to this lore page simply directing the reader to the Titles page and wiping out the entire list of redundant Titles (i.e., those that are listed on the Titles page). Including the Ravenwatch title, since it, too, is listed there. Solomon1972 (talk) 20:19, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
