Lore talk:Sleeping Tree Camp

Merge[edit]
We already have a page about the Sleeping Tree, which is the only loreworthy feature of this camp. These are effectively the same locations described on two different pages.
As for giant camps being settlements, they are most likely all or almost all temporary camps set up by semi-nomadic giants. They are more like bandit camps than Orc strongholds. The only reason Cradlecrush got a lore page was due to its presence in ESO as a full settlement.
Let's just make this a redirect to the tree, and include any pertinent details about the camp and cave on the tree page. —Dillonn241 (talk) 19:37, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- With some minor hesitance I do support this. As long as no information is lost in the merge.Tarponpet (talk) 19:40, 11 August 2024 (UTC)

- I think tree should stay separate from info about settlement, since the page about the tree deals with information about fauna, not place. A mention that the one known sleeping tree grows in that camp is certainly something that can be mentioned. However, if we want to retain information about this Giant camp, a major page that handles all known named Giant camps as one article would be probably better place to speak of details about this camp that are not related to the tree directly. This page would become redirect in such case.Tyrvarion (talk) 21:46, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
