The note is on the page that Rorik claims to have founded the town, but he also says it is named after him, which makes no sense because in the book, holdings of jarl Gjalund, it is also called Rorik's steading. But the book is from around the time that Hroldan was seized from the reachmen, so it's much older than Rorik, so how is the town named after him hundreds of years before his birth?
