Wraithguard[edit]
Shouldn't Wraithguard be listed as appearing in ESO? Vivec wears it in that game... — Unsigned comment by 90.204.99.233 (talk) at 23:55 on 3 February 2019
- Im not sure if that is wraithguard, it doesn't look dwemer in nature. Rim uploaded the concept art from the official website but morrowind concept arts on the official site have since been removed and I cant see the labeling of the screenshot on the official website to verify it. Keening is the Ethos Knife?[edit]
I'm sorry, but I don't see it. The citations seem to indicate that the weapon wielded by Nerevar in the Battle of Red Mountain is called Keening by the author of Five Songs of King Wulfharth and The Ethos Knife by Vivec in Sermon 36. This seems like a weak connection:
1. The two books are authored by very different people, so their perspectives are completely different, and possibly clouded by political motivations
2. The second book is written by Vivec, who is at best an unreliable narrator and at worst an outright liar
Additionally, the Ethos Knife is also called The Short blade of Proper Commerce, and I can't make a thematic connection between Keening and Commerce.
Am I missing something else, somewhere? I don't mind being wrong about this.

- Nerevar was alleged to have wielded two different weapons at BORM in literature, Trueflame, and Keening. “Ethos Knife” is a name that fits the bill of specifically keening as keening is shorter than even a short sword, therefor knife is actually a proper term for it rather than blade. Also Vivecs unreliability is a non-factor considering the account is backed up by songs of king Wulfharth. Dcking20 (talk) 01:05, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
