Night Eye[edit]

Night Eye (also stylized as Night-Eye)[1] is an illusion spell that grants the wielder the ability to see in the dark. The Khajiit have the innate ability to use night eye,[2] as well as vampires.[3] Those that cannot naturally use it or use any kind of spells can attain night eye via alchemy. Some ingredients, when mixed to create a potion of night eye include a bear's pelt, daedroth teeth, a kagouti's hide and Viper's Bugloss leaves.

When the ruined forts of Cyrodiil were previously active, an alchemist, who was also a practicing winemaker developed a special, magical wine called Shadowbanish Wine, which granted the consumer night eye. It was ideally used during lookouts on cold nights to warm up.[4]
