The High Wizard of Valenwood was a Bosmer mage who held high station in Valenwood.[1] The High Wizard of Valenwood became one of the victims to the Altmer of Lillandril, who used their legendary Flask that had the capability of completely neutralizing mages due to its magic reflective capabilities. These Altmer performed these assaults on Bosmer mages as favors for the Barons of Summerset Isles.[2]
One legend about the defeat of the High Wizard of Valenwood states that he was defeated by a mere stable boy who was armed with the Flask of Lillandril.[1]

- One other document mentions the title of High Wizard, and attributes it to an individual known as Carni Asron who was a renowned teacher, mage and enchanter credited with creation of the legendary artifact Mentor's Ring.[3] What the race of Carni Asron was, or if they have any connection to the High Wizard of Valenwood station, is unknown.
