Out of Date?[edit]

Not sure if this got changed in a patch, but I was just playing around with Conjured Ward on my Sorcerer, and the graphic for the damage shield is the opposite of this - it shows red in the middle and purple on the outsides. Is this a different effect? Or have the graphics been changed? — TheRealLurlock (talk) 02:17, 8 May 2015 (GMT)

I don't know if it was changed or not, or if maybe that's a bug, but this is still (as of Update 6) the "official" graphic for Damage Shield from the in-game help tutorial. With purple in the middle, it shrinks to the centre as the shield is damaged, like the health bar does. How does purple on the outsides work? --Enodoc (talk) 10:14, 8 May 2015 (GMT)
I think I've seen purple on the outside too, with the red slowly pushing back as damage is received. —Legoless (talk) 11:36, 8 May 2015 (GMT)
Yeah, that's what I saw as well. I'll try and grab a screenshot next time I play. (Although I stopped using this ability because it was pretty underwhelming.) Is Conjured Ward the only ability that causes this effect? Or are there others? — TheRealLurlock (talk) 14:45, 8 May 2015 (GMT)
Finally remembered to get a screenshot of the effect:

Also got one for what's seen on your pets:

Now what I'm not sure of is if this image is indeed out of date or is still used for a different spell? Needs comfirmation. — TheRealLurlock (talk) 13:18, 10 May 2015 (GMT)
