What I should have done in the first place[edit]

Okay, so I ran through the quest with no mods, tried all the possible options (I believe), and fixed the walkthrough to reflect them. It would be good to have someone who knows more take a look though. There are still issues I'm sure, not just with the info but with the layout in general. The letters especially are huge spoilers but hiding those is beyond my skill at the moment. I made a note of the "level too low" dialogue, even though it comes from the main quest backbone, as I think it is still relevant to the events of this particular quest. Wiki policy is that we don't hide spoilers in quest walkthroughs anyway, since the purpose of quest articles is to describe a quest and summarize the story that unfolds within it. I should also bring to your attention that the Daggerfall namespace has slightly different rules on mods than the other namespaces. There was a discussion several years back where it was decided that because of the numerous glitches that remained in the final version of Daggerfall, changes made by DFQFIX could be listed, since DFQFIX is essentially Daggerfall's equivalent of the Morrowind Patch Project or Arthmoor's Unofficial Patches. DFQFIX actually restores a lot of the content that was intended to be implemented but couldn't due to bugs, so it's fine to leave that information in the article.
