Scripted Second Infection[edit]

If you get Lycanthropy from a random, non-quest Werewolf BEFORE the scripted attack on the Skaal Village, and are forced to get cured (as you cannot progress with the main quest, as Korst won't talk to you), is it possible to get infected a second time in the attack where you get a scripted infection. Obviously it is not possible to get it again randomly, but apparently it is impossible to avoid getting the scripted infection even with 100% Disease Resistance. So does this extend to the immunity granted by having been a werewolf and being cured?

It looks like it. The script that does it is wereskaalScript, which is attached to the werewolves that spawn in the hall. It adds the spell "werewolf blood" to the player when all the werewolves have been killed. It needs in-game checking, but I assume this means you must cure yourself straight away or you'll be stuck as a werewolf for ever - you can only get the Werewolf Cure quest once. rpeh •TCE 09:36, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Or could it be possible to get cured the normal way, get infected, become a werewolf, and then loot the icicle for the scroll of wolf ender?--68.60.16.174 17:18, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Just an update, I am trying to get infected currently and seeing if you can become a werewolf for a second time, AND trying to see if I can cure myself with the scroll. Will post results here when possible.--Catmaniac66 03:23, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
It appears that you can use the scroll to cure yourself a second time. It is obviously a better idea to be cured immediately to avoid any glitches relating to this. -- Ad Intellige Mecum loqui 23:19, 2 April 2013 (GMT)
