Letter from Lanisia Varro
by Lanisia Varro

My dear brother Precillius [sic],

How might you be? I hope things are well. I'm sorry to hear about the border duty, it sounds awful. Spend most of your childhood touring Tamriel in the legions, and now you're stuck freezing your boots off in the Jerall Mountains. Regardless, I hope it pleases you to learn that things are going very well here in Morrowind. I'm living in a town called 'Negkis,' an odd name, but apparently it means 'cactus' in Dunmeris. Regardless, I'm making good coin here. Selling potions to Indoril nobles turns quite the profit, it seems! Some would think that all of Morrowind is covered in ash after the Red Year, though Negkis is about as far from ashy as you could get. It's green and warm and blessed with rain all year round. If you get bored of the snow, do come and visit your sister. Divines know I could use the company.

Much love,

Your dear sister,

Lanisia Varo [sic]
