The Unhappy Young Man
A lesson on appreciating what one has.
One young man complained about his life all the time:
"Well, why am I such a loser? Others have horses, houses, good education, and I? .. life passes by! But I'm young and full of strength ..."
Once an elderly man passing by heard his groans:
"Would you agree if for a thousand septims they cut off your leg, or, for example, your arm?" he asked, pausing.
"Of course not!"
"And the eye?"
"Even for a million septims I would not agree!" exclaimed the young man.
"You see! You have something that you can't buy even for a million septims, and you groan and complain about bad luck and poverty. Learn to properly manage the wealth that you have!"
