The Diplomatic Hotel is a large circular building located in the center of the Imperial City Diplomatic District.

The lower floor of the hotel is a single large room with a high ceiling. Several benches and tables and chairs for patrons or visitors to sit and eat are placed around the periphery; the center is occupied by a round counter (with more barstools) manned by the hotel's staff, Ahjuri and Brabuk gra-Kal.

A spiral staircase in the east wall leads to the upper floor, which has five rooms. The two rooms from the left are unused; the first has two single beds, an armoire, and a dresser, while the second is larger and has a double bed, dresser, armoire, chest, and bench. The room at the far end is occupied by Susan Legard; it has a double bed, table and chair, armoire, and dresser. The second one on the right is Vivian Violetta's; it has a double bed, two dressers, and a chair. The final room, nearest the door on the right, is for the staff; it has nothing more than a pair of single beds.
