Better Cities:Eugene's Sketches
|
Talk to Eugene[edit]
Eugene is a struggling painter who lives in the Bravil Docks, above the Bravil Barrel Brewery. His house doubles as a studio. If you go in and talk to him, he'll ask if you're there to buy a painting. If you refuse, he becomes disappointed... but if you offer to help, he'll perk up: "You... want to help me? That's very kind of you, but I don't really know how you could... Wait, I have an idea! Please, take these sketches! Hand them out to fifteen people around Bravil, and see if they like them or not! Perhaps if I had a bit more exposure, more people would want to buy my art!"
Hand Out the Sketches[edit]
All you have to do is find fifteen people in Bravil and hand them a sketch. Each one will give you a random opinion chosen from a list - some will refuse to take a sketch, so you may have to speak with more than fifteen people to hand out every single sketch.
Return to Eugene[edit]
Once you've handed out all fifteen, return to Eugene and let him know. He'll be ecstatic: "I knew it! I knew you'd do it! I've already had three orders for paintings, and I heard rumour of another two coming this evening! Thank you so very, very much! Please, I made this painting especially for you! I hope you enjoy it!"
As a reward for your efforts, Eugene will give you one of his paintings for free, a fairly recent painting of the Bravil Docks.
