Terani Deroth is a Dark Elf Banker and the head banker at the Hlaalu Council Company Bank in Andothren. This is a financial institution specifically for members of House Hlaalu, and the running of it gives her a great deal of access to details about the finances of various Hlaalu members. It appears that Terani has been paying too close an eye however, for when she is arrested for drunkeness in Bodrum, Ulvys Ules, the representative of Hlaalu councilor Tholer Andas, orders you to ensure that her rescue fails. It up to you to decide whether to extract her safely or otherwise.

Prior to this quest, Terani has an incidental role in The Waylaid Ship, where she is asked to check the validity of the Rivenwake's trade license.
