Shamirr

Shamirr is a Khajiit Slave who has lately escaped from Erethan Plantation, only to fall into the clutches of the Telvanni sorcerer Dras Varethi on his flight towards Windmoth Legion Fort. As a result, Shamirr has become a captive in Harru Cavern. The plantation's head of the guard, Midave Llarys, wants Shamirr back, and will offer you a bounty for the Khajiit's retrieval.

Shamirr claims to have struck a deal with Dras - that Dras will remove his bracers if Shamirr undergoes several magical experiments involving fire. You may bypass this deal however, either by killing Dras or buying Shamirr outright; then, you may free Shamirr or bring him to Midave.

The Khajiit's fate is grim regardless of your decision however - if returned to the Erethan Plantation, he will explode (presumably as a Telvanni prank on the Indoril). If freed, the plantation guards will pick him up near Windmoth, and he will not survive the return journey. If left within Harru Cavern, he will disappear following a raid on the area by plantation soldiers.
