Welcome![edit]
Hiya Tholren! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's great when we get new members. Just thought I'd send you a welcome with some helpful info. Check out the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Help Contents: a list of in-depth Help pages
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
If you would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at the Userboxes page: a near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to making your own.
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~ (do not sign edits to articles). Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun!

{{User current age}}[edit]
Hey, Tholren! I noticed that you've been trying to add the template {{User current age}} to your userpage. Well, it seems like you just need to add in your age to make it work properly, like this: {{User current age|day=19|month=6|year=1990}}
, obviously subsituting your own birthday for those numbers. Does that help? --Vulpa 01:07, 7 February 2013 (GMT)

Very much so, thank you. --Tholren (talk) 01:13, 7 February 2013 (GMT)Tholren
- No problem at all. :) One more quick thing though: you don't need to make a new section for every talk page addition. It's sort of a nitpicky thing, but if you start doing this on article talk pages it could get confusing (especially in tables of content). When replying to a topic (such as the one I added above), all you need to do is add your input directly underneath, as I have done here. Additionally, you'll want to use a : at the start of your reply to indent (add one more than the person before you has done). So, to recap: if you reply to this, you needn't bother making a new section, just add below mine with two semicolons ( :: ) at the start of your reply. If I rambled on too long, then just check what I've done in the editing screen ;) --Vulpa 01:34, 7 February 2013 (GMT)

- I can be really OCD sometimes, so I just wanted to let you know that your indenting wasn't in quite far enough ;) . I edited your post to reflect that-- each : you add indents the post in further. (If it gets too far in after a lot of back-and-forth you'll need a (←) , but that's another story.) If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me or any of the mentors on their talk pages for help. Finally, this page would be a really good place to start to get to know more of "the basics". --Vulpa 01:48, 7 February 2013 (GMT)

- It's really not a problem, I'm just (as I said) a self-proclaimed OCD-er. :) --Vulpa 01:55, 7 February 2013 (GMT)
