Welcome[edit]

Hello ArtemisTheModder! Welcome to the wiki. I hope you enjoy using the site and find the information on it useful. If you decide you want to help improve any of our pages, we're always welcoming to new editors so feel free. You might want to look at our Getting Started page for some tips on how to begin, then play in our Sandbox for a while to practice. If you need any help or advice, please ask one of our mentors. Enjoy! --Volanaro 09:37, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

By the way, to add an image to your page you first need to upload it to the wiki, (please refrain from uploading anything which is copyrighted or for which you do not have permission from the creator) then to put it on a page you need to insert its name in the form of a wiki link like this, [[Image:example.jpg]] hope that helps --Volanaro 09:37, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

Thanks Volanaro, i'll see if i can get it right. ArtemisTheModder 09:39, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

Waheyy, thanks Volanaro, it worked. I can start thinking about helping around on-site now. I have absolutely zilch experience of editing though, so please let me know if i do something wrong. I'll read all the rules/suggestions first, and i noticed the "Getting Started" page, so i'll have a good trawl for a while. Thanks again.ArtemisTheModder 09:52, 23 May 2008 (EDT)
Glad to see you're getting straight into things! The Getting Started should have everything you need to know, but if you're just focusing on wiki syntax for now then i'd go straight to the Sandbox where you can edit freely and test any new found knowledge, also it contains more examples of code that you can tweak to your liking (keep in mind that the sandbox will be reset frequently though) good luck! --Volanaro 09:58, 23 May 2008 (EDT)
The Sandbox seems likes a really good idea, and i saw on the discussion page that I could make a "private" sandbox, so i'll do that to keep notes and reminders for myself. — Unsigned comment by ArtemisTheModder (talkcontribs)
Go for it! The advantage of that is that it will not be re-set so you can keep things there for as long as you like. --Volanaro 10:04, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

Haha, i've managed to achieve a very messy sandbox, with everything i think i'll need in the near future, it all seems fairly easy so i'll see what i can do to help now =] ArtemisTheModder 10:27, 23 May 2008 (EDT)
