Morrowind Crimson Plague

Hey can you Please Help me..On The Crimson Plague Quest When i return From giving The First Cure Disease Potion Those Rats Appear..When i killed All Of Them (7) And Talked With Nerile She was saying "Dont just Stand There! Get Rid Of Them"..I thought Mayby I could Do something On The Construction set But I Tried A Few Things and gave Up..Do you Know How I Could Fix This Problem?. Warning boxes

I was thinking of adapting your warning system for more general use, for example by setting up a comparable page at UESPWiki:Warnings. The new page would be more widely advertised, and would be available to the general community for input on the format used for warning messages. Do you have any concerns about or objections to the idea? Would you prefer that I create a new page and copy your existing content? Your Decision

I regret that you feel that it is necessary to separate yourself from UESP. While it is ultimately your call as to whether or not you wish to retain administrative priviledges, looking over the history of what has happened over the last few months makes me wonder what would be the most prudent course of action, both for you as a member of this community, and for the site itself.

All of the contentious events that have happened over the last four months have one common feature: they have in some way involved administrative actions that you have chosen to make. Also, looking over your contributions going back even further in time it is noticeable that you have taken on very few projects involving adding to or editing content pages (e.g., not UESPWiki pages, but pages on the games themselves). Your commitment to trying to improve the site through the many tasks you have tackled (creating a new skin, adding help pages and UESPWiki policy pages, improving page layout, just to name a few) has definitely been admirable and very much appreciated by the community. But I can't help but wonder whether it's possible that by focussing so exclusively on high-level (and inherently more contentious) issues you have become somewhat disconnected from what fundamentally ties this community together: the interest in creating articles describing the Elder Scrolls games. From my perspective, you seem to be experiencing many of the symptoms of Adminitis; although that article is partially intended to be humorous, there is some very valid underlying truth to the problems that it describes.

These lines of thought have led me to infer that your high level of commitment with administrative issues at UESP has perhaps contributed to some of your stress, and that of late your administrative decisions have more often than not increased the level of tension. Therefore, I'm not sure that continuing maintain administrative powers will help you or will help the site. Especially with three active admins now (assuming that Lurlock's adminship will be official in any day), the site does not have an urgent need for an extra admin. And I think it would be much more helpful for you to not have the constant invitation to worry about the site's well-being at an administrative level. If you are not actually planning to use your administrative powers, then giving them up will have no impact; having them "just in case of an emergency" will only force you to continue to pay attention to the most stressful aspect of the site. I suspect that approaching the site from an editor's perspective and focussing on the site's content would be much less stressful. I would welcome any contributions you would like to make to the site's content, and suspect that your experience of the community as an editor would be far more enjoyable and refreshing.

I realize that you are planning to focus on wikiscrolls and therefore suggestions to contribute to UESPWiki pages may not be too meaningful. But I think some of the advice may still be relevant no matter what project you choose to tackle in the coming months. Even on wikiscrolls, you may want to consider taking some breaks occasionally from worrying about site design and policies and instead just spending some time doing the more enjoyable tasks such as writing articles. Try not to lose touch with the activities that first caught your interest as a wiki contributor. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do. --Nephele 13:02, 13 February 2007 (EST)

Arbitration

If you will consent to it, I think you are one of the parties involved in the argument to change Aristeo's status from being an administration. I feel that we should solve this through an Arbitration outlined here. The goal of the arbitration will be to decide if Aristeo has overstepped his bounds as an administrator or acted in such a way that removing those responsibilities is justified.
