Why am I here?[edit]

I started playing the Elder Scrolls about 8 or 9 years ago. My first game was Morrowind and its still my favorite. I burned out my original disc (but still have it) and replaced it with a new GOTY edition of Morrowind. I still switch back in forth between that one and my Oblivion GOTY. I have always used the UESP as a useful refrence source and reliquary of endless information. I joined about a month or two back but am now finally gettig into the wiki swing. I would love to become an active member in the community and such here and I plan to do the best I can in keep this Wiki up to it's stellar standards.

Areas of Expertise[edit]

I own all of my ES games are on the XBOX 360, except for Daggerfall but I only run DaggerXL -[1]- so I guess that doesn't really count, so don't worry I wont post anything on Daggerfall as I have only played Beta-DXL, although its a wonderful project worthy of an Elder Scrolls game. I am constantly searching throughout this website for new information and to learn many new things, which I always seem to find on the site. I am well versed in almost every known in-game literary masterpiece. I run many different character builds and am constantly trying new things (haha quite unfortunatly I have upwards of what should not be humanly possible amount of saves on my poor 8-gig hard drive. And I know pretty much everything else, haha, naw, honestly the only things I do not know thouroughly are the various console commands and such.

Console Specifications[edit]

As stated above I use an XBOX 360, an older white one with i believe an 8-gig hard drive. Nothing special, haha.

Current and Past Heroes[edit]

Many of my characters are forgotten or lost under the massive amount of saves. I'm going to list my major ones-

Morrowind[edit]

  • "Nerevar"
    • Many of my characters in Morrowind were Dunmer of varying classes and trades (not to mention they were all named in a way that resembled Nerevar) that all ended up beating the Main Quest and various Guilds at one point or another.
  • Orion Bearclaw
    • My current character in Morrowind is a Nord battlemage that endeavored(sp?)((I know I'm lazy)) to create peace between the Dunmer and Nordic races in Morrowind. He belongs to the Orion Cult and thus displays Orion before his describing moniker- as all of the Clan do. (More on that later)

Level 28

Oblivion[edit]

As with Morrowind, maybe more so now, i have had a multitude of characters so I'm going to only showcase a few.

  • Fenix Silvereign
    • One of my favorite characters to role-play with, He was a "late, middle-aged Imperial with gray almost silver colored hair that specialized in the noble arts of the sword, shield, and axe." He was originally just to be a new Warrior-class character but after Character Creation I took to him way more than I thought I would. Thus, I began to set him up as a Noble- he owned the finest houses and armaments most of which was half-imagined. (haha)

He had a son, in his younger days, that came searching for him but never was able to find him as he was waylaid by an Imperial governor for traveling without proper credentials. His son was for marked trial and until then was sent to the Imperial City Prison- the setting for a great and grand adventure.

  • Final level: 31-Father
  • 21-Son
  • Orion Ner-Var
    • Another one of my great role-playing ideas (you get bored without Mods and all) Orion Ner-Var, suprisingly, was not a Dunmer. He was an Orismer, an Orc. Descended from great Orcish heroes of the highest peaks in the Dragontail Mountains. He is in Cyrodiil as part of the contingent of adventurers Lord Gortwog sent South to gather news, treasure, and to spread the growing prominence of Orsinium. Specifically Ner-Var is Gortwog's official ambassador to the Empire, representing both the Orc Lord and Clan Orion.

Final level: 24

  • Orion Star-Wanderer (I know this name is too long to input as a name for the Xbox but this is his intended name)
    • He was a Dunmer Magister that basically turtled up inside of Frostcrag Spire and dedicated his life to enchanting for the Clan and creating new and wonderous spells and alchemical breathroughs.

Final level: 15

  • Orion Ysmir
    • My current character in Oblivion. He is a Nord Battlemage- More a warrior supplemented by Magicka. He is the Clan leader of Orion in Cyrodiil and my foremost adventurer. I have trained him severley, on higher difficulties to try and raise his level as quickly as possible to maximize the leveled quest rewards. I also use him to showcase specific enchanted arms and armor from various Lore and outside sources, i.e. The Lord of the Rings, Dune, Braveheart, Rob McRoy, King Arthur. He is definantly one of my favorites and I will be sad when Skyrim comes as I have decided that he will not survive the 400 year difference between games. But maybe he will have descendants take on his mantle and revive Clan Orion.

Clan Orion[edit]

Basically Clan Orion is my brainchild that has spawned an infinite number of characters and backgrounds. It began in my studies in Astrology- I began naming various characters after constellations. I began to day dream about a reason behind them. Soon after the Clan was born. I felt they needed structure and motivation instead of just freelancing around the world. I figured I would treat them like a Guild that encompassed most provinces and recieved all races of any background. They worked for honor not money, they sought knowledge not personal gain, they sought brotherhood (and sisterhood) not blood lust. This quickly set them apart from the Guild of Fighters, Mages, and Assassins. Many members were renowned Heroes, many were simple hunters, some were excellent smiths, some were thieves, and others still were monks and priests all gathered together forming a truly peacefull, cooperative organization of citizens that protected each other no matter what. Each province had sects of the Clan spread among major cities and some outposts in the wilderness. Joing them was just a simple interview between the applicant and the local Clan leader. While there is no set rank system (yet) there is a distinct leadership element among each sect. Everyone who joins the Clan is reborn in the Clan. Their past names are forgotten, Orion fills your body and your spirit leads you to your second name, through a rite of passage.

  • For example the default name for the character in Oblivion is Bendu Olo. If he were to join Clan Orion his name would become Orion "XXX" with the X's representing a name of his choice. If you know his history then you might guess "Orion Colovia" or "Orion Anvil" but honestly their true spirit name is usually divined from a personal vision that is experienced or through the movement of the Heavens. So each brother or sister becomes renewed upon joining. Specific spirit names are noted for their leadership overtones- Ysmir primarily has shown that a vision of a leader will create a leader.
