Welcome! My name is Daniel Steel-Frost,I've been using the UESP as my primary source for TES info for about 4 years now. I have just begun getting into making edits and taking part in discussions.
I usually spend my time on the site attempting to answer questions and checking the recent changes for any false information. If you want to talk to me about any changes I've made or just about the game in general, feel free to get in contact with me! :)

My biography? I'm not much for talking about myself, but I suppose I can give a few minor details.
My mother was a Nord, my father was an Imperial. I take more after the Imperial side, except for my blonde hair, white skin, and exceptional height.
When I was little I wanted to be a smith who shaped the legendary material, Stalhrim. This interest continued into my teens. Getting a bad case of wanderlust and a desire to satisfy my dreams, I set out for Skyrim to gain passage to Solstheim, the home of stalhrim. On my way over the border, I was caught in an Imperial Legion ambush and mistaken for a criminal. Alongside the Stormcloak rebels and their leader, Ulfric, I was taken to Helgen to be executed.
Those of you who know the story of the destruction of Helgen know what came next. After all was said and done, I was on my own in Skyrim with only weak Legion "armor", an iron mace, and a hundred septims to my name.
I made my way to Whiterun and caught a carriage to Riften. You understand, I meant to continue my dreams and move on to Windhelm to book passage to Solstheim, but something told me an Imperial in Legion armor would not be so welcome in such a direct approach on the Stormcloak headquarters. So I figured I would make a stop in Riften, grab some garments, and walk to Windhelm.
After a failed attempt at a guard shakedown at the front gate, I entered the city of Riften that evening. I kept my hand on my sword, but I did not worry too much. It was obvious this place was of sinister reputation, but it was clear to me that I looked very poor. The guard at the town gate was stupid and got too greedy it would seem.
It was in the marketplace of that town that my life changed entirely. A man named Brynjolf approached me with a job that would put coin in my pockets and who was I to say no?
Now, after a few little jobs, I have become a full member of the Thieves Guild. I run a highly lucrative mead operation with the assistance of my hired muscle, a rough Nord mercenary whose name is not important. For my own safety, I would like to keep my current situation quiet. I can, however, say with the utmost confidence that I am living very comfortably in my land of opportunity.
