Template:OldNewDate

Summary

Allows easy conversion of Tamrielic dates to "old style" Yokudan dates and vice versa. In all cases, a link to the appropriate Lore History page is also created.

Parameters

OldNewDate

Parameter	Scope	Description
year	required	The year to convert. Uses parameter 1 if no name is specified

Example 1

Converting from an old-style date to a Tamrielic date:

When Sesnit was assassinated in {{OldNewDate|2253}}, a commoner took over the government.

When Sesnit was assassinated in 1E 617, a commoner took over the government.

Example 2

Converting from a Tamrielic date to an old-style date.

Frandar Hunding was born in {{OldNewDate|1E 720}}.

Frandar Hunding was born in 2356.
