Summary

This template will display fancy letters in the style of the gamespace in which it appears.

Parameters

LetterPic
Parameter Scope Description
1 required The letter to display. Only capital letters are currently used in-game, so this should be entered as such.
link optional The page the letter should link to, if any, as plain unlinked text (e.g., Skyrim:Skyrim).
title optional If the letter is linked, the hover text for the letter if not the letter itself (only displays over graphical letters – plain text letters will display the link text).
lpfancy optional Which style (namespace) of fancy lettering to use. If not set it will use the default style for whatever namespace is being displayed.

Details

To add fancy letters to a page, start by adding {{LetterPic|letter}} anywhere that a fancy letter may need to appear then optionally do one of the following:

  • To Always Use Lettering Appropriate to Namespace: To use the default style of fancy lettering, you don't need to do anything further. In Lore or Morrowind space, this will display plain letters; in other spaces, the appropriate style of fancy letter will be used.
  • To Override Lettering Defaults: To override the fancy lettering type on a specific page, when transcluding the Lore version of the book, add |lpfancy=no to turn off fancy lettering on that page, or |lpfancy=Namespace to use the fancy lettering style from Namespace.
  • To Use Normal Letters Unless Overridden: To use normal letters except in specified namespaces, add {{#define:lpfancy|no}} at the top of the Lore page.
  • To Use Fancy Letters Everywhere: To use fancy letters in Lore space as well as elsewhere, add {{#define:lpfancy|Namespace}} at the top of the Lore page. This would then use the lettering style from Namespace in all namespaces unless overridden.

Example

Assuming nothing is added to the top of the Lore page, {{LetterPic|A}}bcde expands to:
