Detailed Walkthrough

Relamus Saravyne maintains a house above the Starlight Inn, in Bosmora. Speaking to him will have him mention recent burglaries in town. You can volunteer to help him with solving these. The first thefts were reported by the Farys family of Farys Manor, and by Salms Andala at Bosmora's temple. Relamus suggests that you speak to these individuals. He also names the Khajiit trader, Kiseen, and the Bosmer, Elegel, as possible suspects.

Speak to all these individuals. Kiseen (found in the outdoor marketplace) will deny any involvement, and will ask for your help as part of Unrequited Business. You can ignore him or assist him as preferred - it has no bearing on this quest. Elegel claims to be simply here to visit her friend, Sulemus Nalyn. The two Farys in their manor (speak to both) and the temple priest, Salms Andala, will simply confirm what they have already told the guards.

Report back to Relamus Saravyne for 100 gold, and to hear his grand plan to catch the thief.

10		I have proposed to assist the Guard captain, Relamus Saravyne, in investigating the recent spree of burglaries in Bosmora. He suspects Elegel, a visitor who happened to arrive at the temple right before the incidents, and the Khajiit trader Kiseen, on general grounds of disreputable behavior. I am to enquire about the thefts reported by Salms Andala and the Farys, respectively at the temple and Farys Manor, as well as examine the suspects.
20		Elegel claimed her innocence, and said she was only there to visit her friend.
30		Kiseen denied all involvement in the burglaries, as he said he had troubles of his own.
31		Kiseen denied all involvement in the burglaries, mentioning his own recent troubles. He suggested that those responsible for the burglaries must be operating alone.
40		I have asked Salms Andala about the thefts. He said they happened while he was alone in the temple, though he himself didn't notice anything when the donations and other items were stolen.
50		I have visited Gadavyne and Sidene Farys, who said the burglary in their manor took place while they were away. They reported gold and valuables missing, but no specific item that could be looked out for.
100	Finishes quest	I reported my findings to Relamus Saravyne. He said he had a plan, should I be ready to help catch the thief.
