Bugs[edit]

After finishing the Forsworn Conspiracy quest, I noticed after each visit to Markarth, Thonar Silver-Blood had not moved from in front of the Hall of the Dead. Is there anything to do to fix this or is this bug permanent? Preferably without making him hostile.--bepease2269 00:07, 22 July 2012 (UTC)bepease2269

Is this a bug, or is he scripted to remain here. After all, his wife is killed during the quest. Maybe he remains here to mourn her. --XyzzyTalk 05:47, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
Idk no matter what it seems that as of the more recent patches if Madenach is alive when you leave the ruins Thonar scripts dead. No matter if I got the combat skipped so i didn't risk losing people he ALWAYS ended up dead. Even if no one attacked him, I watched the combat to see if he was just getting killed and as soon as Madenach finished his speech and the combat began Thonar just dropped. No one had even hit him with anything. Lord Eydvar Talk|Contribs 07:13, 20 November 2012 (GMT)

Death of the Silver-Blood Family[edit]

During the course of the quests Forsworn Conspiracy and No One Escapes Cidhna Mine, Betrid Silver-Blood and Thonar Silver-Blood can end up being killed. This leaves Thongvor Silver-Blood as seemingly the only surviving member of the "powerful" family. Then, if the Stormcloaks take the Reach he becomes Jarl, but if the Imperial Legion retakes Markarth Thongvor is kicked out and ends up in Windhelm. This essentially ends the Silver-Blood family's control and influence in Markarth since there will be none left. Yet even with no Silver-Bloods left living in the city, people will still act like they have a firm hold in the Reach. Doesn't this seem odd? If all the Silver-Bloods are dead(or kicked out since Thongvor can't actually die), who owns Cidhna Mine? Who owns Silver-Blood Inn? How can there be Silver-Blood mercenaries trying to bully the people of Karthwasten into giving up their silver mine when there are no Silver-Bloods left in the Reach? Who's running the Treasury? Seems rather strange to me. 71.171.112.74 10:56, 10 October 2013 (GMT)

You just have to assume that there are more than three Silver-Bloods. There are only a bit over a thousand NPCs in Skyrim, which is an Imperial province that would presumably have a population in the tens or hundreds of thousands. You don't get to meet them all. --Morrolan (talk) 14:24, 10 October 2013 (GMT)
