Conversation[edit]

he has an imperial guard. and rides a horse. so far at least i havent been able to initiate any conversation. (xbox)

I haven't been able to talk to him either. I kept bothering him - bumping against him and clicking incessantly, but he didn't follow through on his threat of having his guard take care of me. I was a Legate, so I don't know if that made any difference. ForsakenOne 17:58, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Route[edit]

Don't know his route yet, but i think it's a small circuit inside Haafingar.

I think I saw him one on my way to dragon bridge overlook from dragon bridge. The other time was near dragon bridge as well i think, though i wasn't headed to dragon bridge overlook. 112.198.171.38 15:20, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

I think they travel the "main" roads. I encountered him and his guard three times as I walked along the road around skyrim. Once on the road toward Fort Snowhawk, another on my way back to Whiterun from Windhelm, and another time just after crossing from Robber's Gorge. However, there might be more than one instance of him. I opened the console and clicked on him and his guard, and on at least one instance the refIDs were different. Just watched him arrive at Windhelm and cross the bridge. The guard went inside leaving him on his horse standing awkwardly on the steps. He stayed there for several game hours, even after I went in and out of the city but was gone when got back from clearing that bandit infested farm just to the east. My guess is, like the travellers in Fallout: New Vegas, he moves between cities, halting for a while before turning round. What I'd like to know is what happens to the guard when he goes inside. The Noble and his Imperial Soldier are a random World Interaction. They are only created for the random encounter. --Xyzzy 18:23, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Noble's Guard[edit]

I came across a noble and his guard right before they ran into an entourage of Stormcloak soldiers. They easily killed the guard and went on their way. I cast Dead Thrall on the Imperial guard, which caused the noble to revert to his normal dialogue as if the guard was still alive, telling me that he'd order his (now my, really...) guard to attack. Is this a bug, or are the nobles just supposed to be that stupid? --71.161.113.129 18:12, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

It's not just the nobles. Bethesda just didn't feel like taking every possibilty into account, such as killing his guard and resurrecting him so that he becomes yours. Wolok gro-Barok 18:17, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Female Nobles?[edit]

Is there really female nobles? I've played the games numerous times and I have not seen at least one female noble, only all males. --130.157.91.157 07:06, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

She's in the game data but isn't anywhere in the game, either as a random event or individual person. Vely►Talk►Email 15:21, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

I am fairly certain that he will appear again, yes, considering how he is part of a world interaction and isn't very unique. Vely►t►e 20:37, 2 February 2013 (GMT)
