Glitch(es)

I have this on my current horse. Sometimes it will show up, then I'll die or whatever. When I next see my horse, the armor is gone. I do have a few mods installed. One is improved horses (makes them move faster), unofficial patch, and other random nonsense. I'm playing on PC - Anniversary update installed. I'm bringing this up in case other people without the horse mod experience this. it's likely not a mod issue, but one of Bethesda's many lack of QA bugs.
