Info dump[edit]

Here's the dialogue options I got for the first cultists you meet in Windhelm. The Cultists appear inside the city near the gates to the docks. Both are Dunmer, a male and a female. They relied solely on lightning attacks, and occasionally throw up wards. The townspeople can kill them without your help. Post main quest, high level, male Nord; don't know if any of those make a difference, though.

"You there! You're the one they call Dragonborn?"

Response 1: Yes, I am Dragonborn.

"Your lies fall on deaf ears, Deceiver! The True Dragonborn comes ... You are but his shadow."

"When Lord Miraak appears all shall bear witness. None shall stand to oppose him!"

Response 2: The Greybeards seem to think so ..."

"Then it is too late. The lie has already taken root in the hearts of men."

"So we shall expose to them the falseness in their hearts by tearing out yours, Deceiver!"

"When Lord Miraak appears all shall bear witness. None shall stand to oppose him!"

Response 3: I don't know what you're talking about.

"Your lies fall on deaf ears, Deceiver! We know you are the False Dragonborn!"

"You shall not stand in the way of the true Dragonborn's return. He comes soon, and we shall offer him you're heart!"

"When Lord Miraak appears all shall bear witness. None shall stand to oppose him!"

In combat: "Time to die!" "You won't win!" Etc.

Cult?[edit]

Miraak is a champion of Hermaeus Mora who is rebelling against his master, and the cultist follow Miraak.

Do to the odd look of the cultist mask (kinda looks to resemble Herma-Mora) were the cultist first part of Hermaeus Mora's cult, and some of his worshipers then broke off and became dedicated to Miraak? — Unsigned comment by ‎74.45.42.233 (talk) at 00:28 on 13 December 2012‎

There's no evidence to support or debunk that thought, but the mask of the cultists also seems to mimic the style or Miraak's unique mask, so they may simply be emulating his, rather than Hermaeus Mora itself. 64.12.117.65 04:18, 4 January 2013 (GMT)

Encounters after "Temple of Miraak"[edit]

Is it possible to find these guys after having completed both "Dragonborn" and "Temple of Miraak"? The Random Encounters page says they can be encountered after "starting" Dragonborn, but will they still appear once I've completed it? Because I want those gloves... 69.132.179.20 18:30, 23 February 2013 (GMT)

Dead Thrall[edit]

Thralled the pair that attacked me and they are super neat. Their dialogue remains for combat, and one hums(iirc) every now and then. And if you run into them they have that line, "hey watch it."

Just thought this was really neat to know. — Unsigned comment by Grelaria (talkcontribs) at 02:21 on 8 April 2013

Respawn[edit]

It would seem they can respawn outside of the Temple of Mirrak and they would act as though you haven't defeated Mirrak yet. — Unsigned comment by PrinceRetro (talkcontribs) at 08:39 on 31 August 2018
