Don't understand

I thought the inhabitants of the SI worshipped Sheogorath? Who is this 'Arden-Sul' person? Sheogorath in disguise?--LordDagon 11:33, 28 June 2008 (EDT)

Sheogorath is the lord of the Shivering Isles. They seem to treat him more like an immortal king than a god though. The Aureals and Mazken seem to treat him as a god, but the others are much more divided. Both the manic and demented priests in the Sacellum seem to describe Arden-Sul as a kind of prophet or god of their particular set of beliefs, which are not consistent with each other, who died a long time ago (while Sheogorath is clearly still around and kicking). --Morrolan (talk) 19:05, 28 July 2013 (GMT)
