Labor Dispute

Inside Lost Knife Cave after speaking to Eitaki, you'll find Tridi working the mine. She will mention that Jomund has been working on a plan to retake the mine from the Stormfists:

"Did my sister, Eitaki, send you?"

Yes. It's almost time for the miners to make their move.

"Good to know! We've been doing what we can to confuse and delay them. Jomund has been sneaking around, passing along information. Sometimes he's even in disguise.
These thugs are easy to fool, but they're scary when they get angry."

Once you finish speaking to her, she'll run out of the mine:

Tridi: "Thanks for the help. See you outside!"

Do Kill the Messenger

After eliminating the Stormfist messenger detachement and intercepting the Note from Magister Osanne, you'll hear Tridi and she will be behind you:

Tridi: "You found the messenger! Was she carrying Osanne's letter?"

She will take the letter to take to burn so the Stormfist won't learn of the mystery ore:

"What did you find when you took down the messenger?"

I found a letter addressed to Fildgor.

"I'll take that and burn it. We've had enough trouble with Fildgor and his followers to last a lifetime.
Thanks for intercepting this."

I hope things settle down now.

"I think we'll be fine. Maybe we'll be a little more diligent about guard duty. We don't want to get caught unawares again!
Thanks for all your help."

If you exit the conversation before turning in the quest, she will say:

"What did you find when you took down the messenger?"

I hope things will settle down at the mine now (Leads to quest completion dialogue)

As she runs off to Lost Knife, she'll say:

Tridi: "I'll make sure this letter is destroyed."
