Quest-Related Events[edit]

After accepting the quest, you may speak to her about what she needs:

"As valiant as a Death-Hopper? As sweet as honeyed mead? No, no, no, that's not right.
Oh, sorry! I've been trying to get this line right all day and nothing's working. Do you need something from me?"
Deetum-Jas hired me to take notes for you inside the Daedric ruin.
"Thank you so much! This means a great deal to me. I've been in such a rut these last few weeks. Everything I try to write is as dull as an old blade.
But knowing the contents of that ruin will surely change that!"
Are there any specific areas of the ruin you'd like notes on?
"I've not seen it with my own eyes, so I couldn't say.
But I would think a Daedric ruin would be a wealth of fascinating and mystifying sights. I'm truly interested in it all! But it's up to your discretion, I trust your eye."
How did you become a poet?
"I suppose I've been a writer all my life. I've been writing poems since I was a little girl.
I enjoy the process of turning my thoughts into something tangible, something others can understand. And by some miracle, people seem to like my work!"
Can you share a line from one of your poems?
"Sure! Ahem.
In our homes: good company and warm meals. But at our doorstep: a war of behemoths, a war that will stain the Blackwood swamps and the Topal Sea with blood."
That was powerful.
"Thank you! You're very kind. It always warms my heart to hear that someone enjoys my writing, there's no other feeling quite like it.
You have my deepest appreciation."
That was dark.
"Well, these are dark times, my friend. The best writing often comes from the worst trials and emotions in life.
But I do make it a point to write about happier topics as well! A balance is what's important."
That was awful.
"Oh!
Well … my poetry isn't for everyone. That's the nice part about writing, it speaks to everyone differently. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. Maybe you'll like my next one better."

Speaking to her again before completing the quest, she'll say:

"You look unharmed! I'm so glad.
Tell me, did you manage to take any notes inside the ruin?"
Yes, I took a few notes while inside.
"You are incredible! I can't wait to pore over what you came up with. But that can wait! I'm going to stay around here for a bit and soak up what I can from this location.
You should see Deetum-Jas for your reward! You've certainly earned it!"
