Oblivion talk:Summoned Ghost of Rufio
Why is it so weak[edit]
How Lucien Lachance talked about the summon made it sound really strong makes a guy wonder why the makers of the game made it so weak?? — Unsigned comment by Candc4 (talk • contribs) at 18:19 on 19 April 2011 (UTC)
- We have no way of knowing this, as the sites name clearly says we are not associated with Bethesda Softworks. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:19, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

- Rufio himself was pretty weak, so maybe it's a joke?--201.10.20.23 02:32, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

The point of the summon isn't so much to be a particularly powerful or especially useful summon, it's more of a bit of evil flavor to add some spice to the quest. It's just a nice sinister touch for the "evil questline", letting you use the soul of one of your victims as a unwilling tool for your own dark designs. Maybe it's also to make Lucien seem cooler/more powerful, since he apparently was able to trap and bind rufio's ghost, a skill beyond the means of the player...Padomay 22:35, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
