Oblivion talk:Masque of Clavicus Vile
Mask[edit]
Hi !
I just wanted to note that the mask ( helm, whatever... ) sports facial hair. As far as ive searched this is the only way for youre character to have facial in oblivion, at the least in appearence ( unlike morrowind ).
It might also be worth noting that a lvl 1 imperial with this helm and the raiment of valor will have 80 personnality points (85 if a class attribute is personnality).
Furthermore, the helm with raiment looks very nice for a roman themed imperial ( in particular with the heavy raiment with sports some visible metal ).

- I wouldn't call it facial hair since it isn't your own face. It's a, well, masque. --Timenn-<talk> 09:37, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Removed Note[edit]
Also you can choose to keep Umbra and it will no longer be a Quest item, you can also be any level for this quest just start the quest and get the sword, take it back and the quest will be complete I don't think this belongs here.--Arch-Mage Matt 00:20, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- You're right, it actually belongs to the quest page. You can move it to the page if you want to:).--S'drassa 03:56, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- It is already mentioned in the bugs section, so it should not be moved as to avoid redundancy. Talk Wolok gro-Barok Contributions 10:40, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Wrong effect[edit]
When I first did Clavicus's Quest and got the Masque rather then getting the Fortify Personality 20 effect I got a Fortify Mercantile 8 effect instead.I was on XBox 360. so I can't use the CS to see whats wrong, I did do the quest at Level 3 by fighting Umbra first rather than going to the shrine. 5 Levels later I returned it and Had the Fortify Mercantile 8. Can anyone help me. I can't load a new save either Cause that charecter is level 37 now. 66.186.66.3 20:00, 21 August 2013 (GMT) Dunehelm
