Sold Arrows Disappear?

I was watching a Let's Play on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rbs2lGuGwig&NR=1 Watch the first 20 seconds carefully. Around 14 seconds in, the arrows the uploader was using suddenly drops from 100 to none. Most of these arrows came from a purchase with Batul gra-Sharob in the previous episode. I wonder if her sold items somehow glitched? As far as I've been watching, the uploader did no glitches. Watching VERY closely, I noticed that the arrows disappear upon an "area loading" message in the middle of the screen, while he had an arrow nocked and ready to fire. My main question is if there is anything wrong with Batul's inventory, specifically, the arrows for a low-level character early on in the game (literally under 2 hours playtime).
