The Balance of Forces (ODDDesertSkentsQuest)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
5 I have discovered a talking skull in the desert! Seems like he wants something from me? Hmm. Why not. Maybe I should just talk to him and hear what he has to say.
10 I've decided to help the Master of All Questions.
15 All right. I have the house dust and the instructions for a curse. As far as I understand it, it does not seem to be extremely difficult to enchant the skull into something else. He will be thrilled!
16 I have dusted the skull and thought of something beautiful! Now poor Skent should again assume a respectable figure.
20 Great. Skent the rabbit is up and away. Most likely, the Serai. Maybe I should start there with the search for the white sand.
60 Great! I was appointed to the creator of Mephala's servants' bodies and souls. So I still don't completely understand how many souls or bodies they need now, but Skent will probably take the first, and he already knows where he will find the next. I should follow to fulfill my duty to him.
61 So in this grave, we want to get the first two souls and the body for Skent. We don't seem to be the first to enter these chambers. I wonder if there's really still a "great soul" here?
65 Skent has his body, and "we" have fetched a soul for A'nshi. Now we just need the mighty soul of Ned. I'm curious where Skent will lead me this time.
86 We have reached Kathar, to kill off the Creeper. Maybe there will be some time to see the city afterwards. Right now, did A'nshi say something about the High Priest?
91 The Creeper has eliminated the entire temple. I should probably take a look around here. I don't think she retreated so easily.
96 Incredible. Skent and A'nshi crowned me High Priest of Kathar after I killed the Creeper. Hm. But somehow it was strange.
222 Incredible. I have found Ned. She is doing well and at the same time the Mistress of the Threads. The three have just been playing me all this time. Is that why Ma-Syd-Jun sold me the amulet, so that I find out? Until now, I haven't taken any harm. Not a bad reward, to be High Priest. Let's see what I can do with it.
223 Finishes quest☑ Now I am High Priest of Kathar.

Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On PC It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDDesertSkentsQuest stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
