The entrance to the Pyramid Field

The Pyramid Field of Akka'an is a valley filled with tombs a few hours' walk south of Kathar.

The valley is accessible only through a long passage carved through the cliffs surrounding it. Many of the tombs here are accessible, including Andalis' Tomb, the Wolf Temple, the Hidden Temple, and four nameless pyramids (they're all called "Akka'an Pyramid", but each has its own page: Akka'an Pyramid 1, Akka'an Pyramid 2, Akka'an Pyramid 3, Akka'an Pyramid 4).

Near the center of the valley, there's a small square dais with four pillars (well, two - the other two are broken off partway up). In the center of this is an object called the Healing Altar of the Ancients. Activate it, and you'll be asked what you want to sacrifice for "the blessing". Whatever you choose, be sure you have enough - if you don't, you'll be cursed (Drain Health 100pts for 600 seconds). The blessing will give you a Restore Health effect that heals 2pts for 600 seconds. You can only receive the blessing once per day.
